“ Wise Donors ” is a platform that allows companies to list products at a lower price points for the sole purpose of donation. Individuals can purchase these products and donate to a local charity where demand exceeds supply. Local charities displayed on Wise Donor will list out the goods they need most. With this, more impact can be created with the same sum of money.

Wise Donors in no way has any contact with any donation or product whatsoever. Wise Donors only acts as a bridge to unite our community to solve these societal problems in a way that is beneficial to all parties. Donor’s money is directly transferred to vendors who will package the products and transport them directly to the designated charity.

Promote donation transparency

All Charities intend to do good for society and help underprivileged people. However, in the name of good, sometimes wrong happens intentionally or unintentionally. Leaving Donors with a distrusted feeling towards doing good.

Resolve misallocation of resources within society

Although donors may have good motives, however, the things donated aren’t always as impactful as they may seem. With bad communication, charities tend to receive unwanted products and get donated the wrong items leaving them with unrequired surpluses that could be misused.

Reduce corporate wastage

It’s impossible for corporations to be 100% efficient due to mistakes, errors, and unforeseen incidents that can cause planned products not to be sold causing them to go to waste and many times thrown away.

How wise donor work?

Wise Donors eliminates the risk of fraud by running an automatic system very much like an e-commerce platform. The money is automatically transferred from your hands to the vendors' account for your purchase of the goods. These goods will then be sent directly by the vendor to the charity. A confirmation notification of the donation will then be sent to you, along with a receipt and an image of the shipment.

The platform only acts as a site to bring in different parties and help those in need. Wise Donors does not contain transaction fees, and in no way has any contact with the money.

How did it start?

Wise Donors, officially established in 2021
is created by a group of high school students in Bangkok, Thailand.

Initially, we aimed to help communities near us at Ruamrudee International School; however, we soon realized that we had the time and skills to contribute on a bigger scale. We realized that, by creating a bridging platform, we should be able to support a larger variety of charities throughout Thailand as well as help vendors reduce wastages. This platform came to be Wise Donors.
